Telenor Pakistan is set to be Dissolved as an independent brand after its planned merger with Ufone (PTCL Group). Once the integration process is completed, Telenor will no longer operate as a separate entity, as its operations, services, and infrastructure will be fully merged into Ufone’s network.
According to PTCL management, the merger will involve complete technical and regulatory integration before the Telenor brand is gradually phased out. The transition is expected to be managed carefully to ensure uninterrupted services for customers.
After the merger, a combined customer base of over 70 million users will be served under a unified telecom system. During the transition period, SIM services will continue to function normally, while the Telenor brand will eventually be absorbed.
The process is currently in progress and remains subject to regulatory approvals and final integration steps.
